Kondapalli Kota near Vijayawada is another attraction which 18km from Vijayawada .The Kota lies to the west of Kondapalli in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of NTR district in Andhra Pradesh.The Kondapalli Kota was built by Prolaya Vema Reddy of Reddi Kingdom during the 14th century. According to the historians this Kota was built in 1360 CE by Anna Vema Reddy after he captured Kondapalli from Mudigonda Chalukya. During the historical Days,several dynasties, from the Reddi rulers , Gajapati dynasty to the Nizams and then the East India Company.The Kondapalli Kota has seen it was one of the trade centre.
