One 16" Original Radio Recording disc from 1945
Treasury Department- War Finance Division
Treasury Salute - Two 15 minute programs - WW2
Program 296  - To Capt Jean Truckey
Program 297  - To Soldier Chuck Jackson
These programs were produced and sent to local radio stations to stimulate Savings Bonds sales.  They were 15 minute dramatizations of war and home front heros. Many of these shows starred Hollywood actors who donated their time.
This recording is undated, but it was produced and pressed in 1945 (ND5 matrix number).
Disc is in good condition with some scuffs and scratches. This can only be played on a turntable able to accommodate large 16 inch diameter records.
Makes a great display item.
